Fábrica de Arte Américas [DOCUMENTARY] 2023
A group of community leaders from the Biennial of the Americas visited Cuba and experienced “Fábrica de Arte Cubano,” a unique space where Cuban art, along with works from a few other Latin American countries, come together under one roof. The space offers a sensory experience with visual art, music, theater, dance, fashion, and film. Inspired by the concept, the leaders decided to bring it to Denver. They gathered the support needed to make it happen, expanded the idea, and brought incredible artists from across the Americas—from Canada to Chile. The diversity of countries made it challenging to secure visas for everyone, but their efforts paid off. They also made the event part of the City Summit of the Americas, where leaders and mayors from around the world gathered, making Denver a center for arts, culture, and political dialogue.
